The Story

Olga Iacovlenco is a sculpture artist based in Vancouver, BC. Her practice began with a desire to live a simple, rewarding lifestyle centered around the idea of creating beautiful objects for daily use. Ceramics revealed itself to her as a medium through which she could cultivate and share that beauty with others.

Olga's new collection, Êtres, is a story of ceramic sculptures that meditate on the traces existence leaves behind. Each piece carries a whisper of being - a suggestion of the body, an echo of passing time, an intimacy of connection.

Through curves, voids, and surfaces, the works speak in a language of both fragility and permanence. Clay, once tender and yielding, hardens into endurance while preserving the memory of every touch. Together, these sculptures form a quiet constellation - inviting viewers to recognize ourselves, our memories, and the simple, enduring beauty of existence.
