INI CERAMIQUE is a handmade ceramic practice of Inhee Ma, a Korean artist and designer currently based in France. Through the development of collections built around a minimalist wabi-sabi aesthetic, her stoneware creations generate a dialogue between craftsmanship, art, and fusing different cultures.Â
This piece was created as an homage to the remarkable work of French painter Henri Matisse. Inhee is a long-time admirer of Matisse's work and found profound inspiration in reinterpreting his art into functional objects.
